Welcome to AVSEC Training Limited (“we,” “us,” “our”). By accessing or using our website and online training services, you agree to comply with these Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before using our services. If you do not agree with these terms, you must not use our services.

1. Definitions

“Services” refers to the online training courses, materials, and certifications offered by AVSEC Training Limited.
“User” refers to any individual or organization accessing our services.
“Website” refers to avsectraining.ie and any associated subdomains.
“Content” refers to the text, graphics, videos, and other materials provided as part of our courses.
“Group” refers to an organization, company, or entity with multiple users accessing courses under a managed account.
“Security Manager” refers to the designated responsible person within a group who manages user assignments and ensures compliance with background check requirements.

2. Eligibility

Users must be at least 18 years of age or have the consent of a legal guardian to use our services.
By registering, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate, complete, and up-to-date.

3. Use of Services

You agree to use the services solely for lawful purposes and in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
You must not share, resell, or redistribute access to our courses or materials without our explicit permission.
Unauthorized use, such as reverse engineering, duplication, or commercial exploitation of our content, is strictly prohibited.

4. Registration and Accounts

To access our courses, you must create an account on our platform or be assigned access through a group account.
Security-Sensitive Courses: Certain courses are restricted and only available through managed group accounts, as outlined in Section 5.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and ensuring no unauthorized access occurs. Notify us immediately if you suspect any unauthorized use of your account.

5. Security-Sensitive Courses and Background Check Requirements

Restricted Access: Certain security-sensitive courses are not available to the public and can only be accessed through a group account under a user management system.

Security Manager Role: Each group must appoint a Security Manager, who will be responsible for:
Managing user access within their organization.
Assigning users to security-sensitive courses.
Confirming and verifying that all users have undergone appropriate background checks before being assigned to a restricted course.

Background Checks: The Security Manager must ensure that users assigned to security-sensitive courses:
Have undergone vetting and background checks in compliance with applicable aviation security regulations.
Meet any additional requirements specified for the course.

Verification Responsibility: AVSEC Training Limited relies on the Security Manager to ensure compliance with these requirements. We do not independently verify background checks unless specifically agreed upon in writing.

Breach of Responsibility: If a user is assigned access to a restricted course without the required checks, AVSEC Training Limited reserves the right to suspend or terminate access for the entire group and report the occurrence to the appropriate regulatory authorities.

6. Payment and Fees

All course fees must be paid in full before access to the course is granted.
Prices are listed in Euros (€) and are subject to applicable taxes.
We reserve the right to change course fees at any time. However, the price agreed upon at the time of purchase will remain valid for that transaction.

7. Refund Policy

Refunds may be granted if requested within 14 days of purchase, provided no course content has been accessed.
If a technical issue prevents access to the course, we will work to resolve the issue or offer a refund at our discretion.
Refunds are not available for partially completed courses or certificates already issued.

8. Course Access and Availability

Course access is granted for a specific duration as outlined during purchase (e.g., 30 or 60 days). Extensions may be available for an additional fee.
We reserve the right to modify, update, or discontinue any course or service without prior notice.

9. Certificates

Certificates of completion are issued digitally upon successful completion of the course and any associated assessments.
If an error is found on a certificate (e.g., incorrect name), you must notify us within 14 days for a correction, free of charge.
Requests for hard copies or reprints may incur additional fees.

10. Intellectual Property

All content, including course materials, videos, text, graphics, and trademarks, are the property of AVSEC Training Limited or our licensors.
Users are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access the content for personal and non-commercial use only.

11. Data Protection and Privacy

Your personal data is processed in accordance with our [Privacy Policy] and applicable data protection laws.
By using our services, you consent to the collection and processing of your data as described in our Privacy Policy.

12. Technical Support

We provide technical support for issues related to accessing our platform or courses.
Users are responsible for ensuring they meet the technical requirements (e.g., internet connection, compatible device).
AVSEC Training Limited is not responsible for technical issues caused by third-party services, such as internet outages or device failures.

13. Termination of Access

We reserve the right to terminate your access to our services without notice if you breach these Terms and Conditions.
Upon termination, you must cease all use of our content and destroy any downloaded or printed materials.

14. Limitation of Liability

AVSEC Training Limited is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use our services.
While we strive for accuracy, we do not guarantee that all course content is free from errors or omissions.

15. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these Terms and Conditions shall be governed by the laws of Ireland.
You agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Irish courts.

16. Changes to Terms and Conditions

We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. Any changes will be posted on our website, and users are encouraged to review them periodically.
Continued use of our services after changes are published constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
